Our little boy is 14 months old and growing at a rate of knots. He is super tall and heavy which means that a lot of people (even me sometimes!) think he is older than the actually is. My previous boy is cruising the furniture and THISCLOSE to walking!
This morning we went to the zoo for the first time which was lovely. We caught up with a couple of local adoption Mums and scoped out the playgrounds and saw some animals which was a lot of fun. We got an annual membership so we can return whenever we want, which takes the pressure off of having to stay for hours to get our moneys worth. It's only 20 minutes from our house so it's really convenient for a morning adventure if we have nothing else on.
Murray is headed back to work next week after school holidays, but this term is only nine weeks long, and then he has six weeks at home with us! We can't wait! We are seeking permission from the Department to see if we can travel interstate for my Uncle's 60th birthday in December. They live in South Australia and under our placement conditions we cannot travel interstate without written permission. We would be driving 2000km over 3 days across the Nullabor which sounds quite intense but Jeb loves the car, and we plan on stopping and seeing everything that the Outback has along the way.
